WOYWW 770

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Julia's Stamping Ground and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

I have been sorting and tidying in my craft room. A friend gave me a lovely bird shelf unit which meant reorganising so I could display it.

Once I had got so far with the sorting, I turned my attention to my stamps. I had a good clear out a while ago, but I still managed to get rid of quite a few.  I searched online for how to clean sticky stamps, which was just putting them into warm soapy water to soak for a few minutes, then rinsing them in water.  They did look and feel better afterwards.

I did some stamping (bottom left).  My intention is to start using the stamps - we will see how that goes!  Bible group this morning so I will catch up with everyone later.

I love your beautiful little bird unit - what a lovely gift and kind friend. Sorting out can be a daunting task but I managed to pretty much halve my rubber stamps last year - I have been ruthless and not had to re-buy any of them yet!!
Hope you have a good week,

I am always re-organising, I actually find it quite therapeutic - until the panic set in about how much stuff I have!! I have those little dot baskets as well, very useful!! Have a good week, love n hugs Cindy xx #12

Well done at doing some sorting. I keep finding excuses for not doing any sorting as the thought of it terrifies me lol! I tend to do it when I just can't find something I'm looking for. Loving your desk all ready and waiting for your return. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww. Hugs Angela x9x

Well done you with your sorting out of your crafty stash…it’s a bit like painting the Forth bridge and is rather never ending 😀

It's a pretty little set of drawers, how kind of your friend. Especially as it prompted some more adjusting and clearing, win win! Can't imagine not using my stamps very often, I hope you enjoy your intention!

Love the bird shelf but why is it called that? Never heard it before.
Oh Angela, I am always meaning to sort my craft room out, think when this leg gets healed I might well just do that. Could have a stall on the market with all the stuff I have - no kidding.

What a gorgeous little bird decorated chest of drawers, love it and glad you found the space for it too. I have some sticky clear stamps, Tim Holtz ones even, I'll give the warm soapy water wash a go, thanks.

Yes "Cancel Culture" is STILL BUGGING ME!!!! It really doesn't fit with the idea Shalon was portraying on the Facebook family meeting. I'm wondering whether it has a different meaning in America (or with Tracey specifically) but the internet searches say it originated in America. Who knows! Glad I haven't bought into Momentum now. I still have Faith Inspirations pending, thought I'd aim for the middle of the month as both things come on 1st and I'd like to spread it a bit. Hugs BJ#5

It is a lovely bird unit.
Well done on all the sorting.
I still haven't found that image. I have a feeling it was a freebie that was not on etsy but on a post. I may find it in previous months but so far it has not turned up...
With very best wishes for a Happy WOYWW!
I am determined to call and comment on all of you this week!
Susan #1. We are having an extremely hot weekend and Public Holiday Monday (forecast to be 37, 38, 39 degrees) so the best place is in my craft room!
