Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

Once again, no new crafting to show, I was planning to go into my craft room yesterday, but instead helped my husband with one of the fish ponds.  My job was fairly easy, I sat on a chair while my husband poured buckets of water through a net to catch the fish.

When my daughter said the pond was getting very green I ordered a product from Amazon.  Unfortunately, she didn't read the instructions and just poured the liquid into the pond without mixing with water first.  So we decided to change the water.

The Minnows, I think we have had nearly three years.  They came from someone's large (think lake) pond.

The freshly filled pond.

While we were away the two Koi fish died and the pond apparently smelt awful, so my daughter and grandson emptied the pond.

This pond is on the opposite side of the garden.

I am amazed how big the black fish have grown, I call them "My Boys", but I have no idea of their sex.  So I have four ponds and a big tub filled with water that has waterlillies in.  The left hand side of the garden the other side of the ponds, is my little "wood".

Well that was a different post!

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.  Today is not Wednesday, obviously, but I am still joining in!

The reason for the very late posting, is that I have been putting my craft stuff back into my craft room.  My dear husband thought it was much better to get in a bit at a time and put it away.  Twice I thought I had finished and he brought another load in!  I prefer my normal method of everything coming at once.

Of course I had a sort out while I was doing it and here is the end result:

I had a delivery from Hunkydory.  They give a free card making set every month to members, you just have to pay postage.  I don’t often order them, but I do like poinsettias and I got a couple of masks too.

I hope next week to have done some kind of art, until then have a great week.

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

These are the last pictures in my “Colours in the Bible” study.  I think this last one is my favourite visually.  ChatGPT supplied the angel image, this took several “goes” to get the
the image I was after.  The last but one I wanted a bright, shining face.
Revelations 10 :1 and part of 2 says:
“I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.  He had a little book open in his hand.”
Unfortunately the angel looked quite spooky, so I had turn down the brightness!

Today we travel home so I may be late in calling x

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

I can’t say I have done a great deal this past week.  We had a visit to a local town and I got myself a nice storage unit at a charity shop and some fabric.  I am not exactly sure what I am going to do with the fabric, I had vague ideas about a fabric book.  They are sample pieces and they have a border of paper backing them, which doesn’t seem to be coming off easily.  They are a mix of cotton 25%; viscose 25%; linen 25%; and polyester 25%.   Perhaps Jan or Annie could tell me if I should soak the paper off or bin them?

You can see there is quite a bit of paper left in the upper right picture.

I bought a new craft bag on a trip to Shrewsbury and some wrapping paper that I will be spending hours cutting up!

I have just the last colour study to do which is multicolours as in the rainbow.

I had a fabulous two weeks near my niece.  Last Saturday she was doing a book cover class, so I joined in:

Nearly finished my study of colour in the Bible.  This is White:

AI technology for the horse and rider (Jesus in Revelations 19) from Chatgpt, plus a tiny adjustment from me!   Absolutely love that picture.

Yesterday I spent the day with my niece, we did bird houses first, using Powertex, here is mine.

The right one is my niece's and the left her daughter's, my great niece.

Then we did trinket boxes, mine is the top one, the orangey one my niece's and the other my great niece's.

Finally my colour study of Gold in the Bible.

Sorry if this post seems rushed!  It was!

Here are the latest  ICADS , there is one more to come which just might be the one at the bottom!

Working in the awning, unfortunately I had to tidy quickly as the table was needed and was too late with the camera!  In the book are my prints flattening.  I tried some leaf printing, there was only a couple I kept as they were. I painted over the others with some left over paint.  The ones most recently done disappeared into the paint, but the outline was left with the other ones.  With the following one I printed over a painted one.  I like how this one turned out.  It was the only one flat enough to photograph!

I have been studying the colour green in the Bible

I discovered that chartreuse is a green yellow colour.  Named after a liqueur made by monks from 1737.  The Pale horse of Revelations, could possibly have been this colour!
These are the two missing from last week.

The top left is a design of mine from quite a few years ago.  The words on the right really jumped out when I saw it in a magazine.

I have used so many old bits and pieces I felt quite pleased with myself, but when I looked at the remaining stuff in the caravan, I thought it doesn't actually look like I have used anything!  Apart from my washi tape which I can see the difference.

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

I love this one, I managed to use up quite a bit of washi tape on this ICAD

I am continuing the study of colours in the Bible, this is the colour blue.  Lapis Lazuli is a beautiful stone and occurs in the Throne of God and in another place, the floor at His feet.  While we were at Pickering I bought a tiny toadstool shape of Lapis Lazuli, I would have a loved a big piece, but a) they didn't have any and b) I am sure the price would have been high.

In JoDitts group we are studying colour and this month we had to choose two palettes and colour in the card below.  I have never worked with colour palettes before and didn't like the experience, too limiting.

Four more ICADS, a further 2 to come for last week.

We have moved again and the Internet signal is really bad, but I hope to catch up you all x

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

Still using up stuff!  I have been suffering with headaches a lot this past week so not a lot of crafting done.

I bought an A5 notebook to write out my Ezekiel study and then in JoDitts Group we started a Colour in the Bible study. So I flipped my notebook and I am doing the Colour Study on the flip side.  The picture above is my Ezekiel study, the chart shown in the middle goes in a pocket I made in the front cover.

My intro page on colour.

The colour red.
