WOYWW 768

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Julia's Stamping Ground and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

I  have been busy sorting out my ephemera folders.  I had a few packs of bird images from Hunkydory.  I decided cut them to a more usable size.  I had watched a couple of YouTube videos on making  ephemera, one of which was faux stamps.  I cut all the pictures down with thinning scissors and inked the edges.  Once they were done I went on to a pack of butterflies, a washi tape paper with plastic backs.  I did a few on book paper, then I used a sticky note pad.   I inked the edges of the sticky note pad and put the butterflies on top. I used glitter pens to add colour to some.  Then I went back to the birds and selected some paper to back them with, inked the edges.  Now I have a lovely pile ready to use.  I did intend to stamp some postmarks on them, but instead I had a long nap yesterday afternoon.

I finished my pages for Faith Inspirations, the pink isn't as vivid in real life.

Today I have Bible Group this morning so I shall be round to visit in the afternoon.

They are looking fabulous Angela - what a great way to re-purpose your stash. The postmarks will finish them off perfectly - I shall look forward to seeing them in your artwork - no pressure!!
Hope you have a great week,

Well, that was a useful time spent getting all those pieces ready for future projects - that is a pile of pleasingness (don’t think that’s a word but it should be!) That shot would make an awesome jigsaw too!!

That's a great idea with the faux stamps and they've turned out so well. I don't blame you for napping instead of adding post marks though! Lisa-Jane #9 https://www.prettymypage.co.uk/woyww-768/

Oh I adore all the ephemera you have made what a great idea. I happen to have postage stamp decorative scissors so that is cool. The mini printer is..... from the box - Portable Mini Printer - BT instant printing. No make I can make out??? Made in China though - what a surprise. From the top of the box there seem to be 5 versions 9 17 15 13 19, Mine is the 9 so I guess the most basic. It came with 5 plain rolls of paper, 5 sticky backed rolls and one each of pink, yellow and blue rolls plus some mini felt tip pens. As a present I'm really pleased with it, but would probably buy a higher model if I were buying one myself. My friend bought one each for her twins too and I think theirs are different models possibly 19 by her description. Hugs BJ#12

Ah! I couldn't remember if I'd popped in or not, I think maybe not! Probably LAST weeks post! Sorry for such a late visit! I'm loving what you've been up to. I'm at the moment well, typing this but also playing around with butteries too. They seem to match up well with practically any topic! Happy WOYWW!? ((Lyn))
