Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Julia's Stamping Ground and have a look to see what everyone has been doing. We had a lovely Christmas, today I watched High Society and Beauty and the Beast, loved both films. It’s not the first time I have watched them and it probably won’t be the last. Christmas Eve my son made me an Advocaat Hot Chocolate. It was delicious and too late I realized I couldn’t drive afterwards. I did intend going to midnight service, but better safe than sorry. I don’t like alcohol normally. We had both my son and his family and my daughter and her family over for Christmas Day.

I am 5 hours behind y'all and just happened to open julia's blog and see "tomorrow's " woyww was posted, so I posted and and here to say, I dont drink much either, and if you both chocolate in it I might reconsider!

That's a lovely picture Angela. My girl is home now, so I may well copy your example and get a couple of us in front of a tree. Ade me smile about the advocaat, I'd run a mile in tight shoes to avoid it, but there are plenty of other flavoured alcohol drinks that I could quaff without really getting the feel of 'drinking'! Glad you had a lovely day, must admit to looking forward to today...no visitors, no cooking, no tidying!

The mini sewing machine is proving to be a bit temperamental. I tried to mend my son's shopping bag with it before I was ofay with it's workings and it may have been a tad too much for it so I need to have a fiddle with the mechanics. Super photo by the tree. I went to the Christmas Eve service at my old church but my back was really playing up and I ended up sitting on the floor for some relief, right pickle it's been. Happy New Year Hugs BJ #3
