Ending on a happy note. My husband brought me a handbag and some Channel no 5 from Spain and my daughter (who was with me in A&E) bought me a Yankee Advent calendar to cheer me up.

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Julia's Stamping Ground and have a look to see what everyone has been doing. I am afraid this post is a bit of a non event as I have not been well. Spent 19 hours in A&E last Thursday/Friday. I went in as I had chest pain, the trouble is I have arthritis of the rib cage (costochondritis) which can mimic heart pain. I suspect it had flared up with doing too much the week before. As they say - better to be safe than sorry! Then I spent the next few days getting over my visit to A&E. My husband came back from Spain Monday, so my world is returning to normal!

I am very sorry to hear that you were so poorly, 19 hours in A&E mustn’t have helped. I’m glad you’re back home and feeling a little better, helped by those lovely goodies from your husband. Take care and rest up xx

Lovely gifts Angela, I hope they did cheer you, and your husbands return too, of course! But ouch, what a way to spend a day..am so sorry that it was painful enough to need that sort of attention and that the attention was erm, slow to be reassuring. Better safe than sorry as you say, and I hope this experience won't put you off seeking help in any similar situation! OOh a whole bottle of a Chanel....lovely, enjoy!
Oh sorry to hear you've been poorly, but hope the nice presents make up for it a little. Also sorry to say I didn't keep the nets at all. Literally they were shredded and brittle and falling apart as you touched them. I do have remnants from when I sewed them the right size which I already use for embellishments so not lost entirely. Have replaced with the same as well, IKEA. Bought it yonks ago but just didn't get around to sewing it the right size. Really need to do the bathroom as well but it isn't quite as bad...yet.... 19 hours...wow. I'm so glad you are OK, how nice of your daughter to accompany you, and to give you that lovely gift as well! Aren't daughters wonderful! Nice gifts from hubby as well! oh so sorry to hear this, hope your feeling better? I have rheumatoid arthritis so I know what a flare can be like, must have been very scary to have it in the ribs though. nice pressies from hubby though,
