Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Julia's Stamping Ground and have a look to see what everyone has been doing. This week I have again been doing both digital and also in my craft room.
I attended the Bible Journaling Conference Wednesday, Thursday and Friday last week. As it was in American time the sessions didn’t start until the afternoon and went on till 1 am! I didn’t have any intentions of staying up, but as my husband was away that’s what I did. I didn’t know what to expect. But I enjoyed it all. It was a very full three days. One of the crafts was an envelope book which I made more or less as per instructions. I covered the from and back with some paper, that I decided I really didn’t like. Another craft was to brayer paint on waxed paper and use that to print off the paint. I used ordinary paper to paint my envelope book - instant happiness!
I have nearly finished my study of the Psalms. I have been making notes on my IPad. I have printed off half my notes and put them in my Psalm Book. Some of my notes were longer than others so some pages have two or three strips on them.
Yesterday I designed some cards for my envelope book and made another card for the Cat Lovers Christmas challenge. It was my birthday yesterday and I spent the evening watching Miss Marple with Joan Hickson, the best Miss Marple I think. My daughter was coming round, but I spent most of the afternoon in bed - I think I may have been over doing it a bit! So she is coming today instead.
Well that’s it from me x,

So much fun detail in your card and love the layers. The snowflakes just jump off the front. Thanks for joining the Lost Coast Design Challenge.
Hope you are feeling better today Angela and belated happy birthday. Loving that envelope journal. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #6
I agree about Miss Marple, the others don't do it for me as good as she does. I think a lot of it is her face - she was Agatha Christie's choice apparently.
Sorry you overdid things, pace yourself for the rest of the week please.
Hugs, Neet xx 1
Oh yes Joan Hickson definitely the best Miss Marple!! What a lot of pages you have on your desk. I'm guessing this is the same thing BJ has been doing. Well you both seem to have had a lot of fun despite needing to catch up on your sleep!! Have a great week, love n hugs Cindyxx #9
Happy Birthday for yesterday! I’m with you in the Joan Hickson fan club for Miss Marple, Geraldine McEwan and Julia Mackenzie just weren’t right. Hope you’re feeling better today. That cat card is really sweet, a great entry for the challenge!

First, happy belated birthday. There was a LOT going on at that conference. I tried to follow BJ as she made so many awesome bible inspired pieces.
I love Miss Marple, but not sure I have seen that actress as her. At least you enjoyed your time.
What an adorable cat card. Happy WOYWW from #2.
Happy belated birthday Angela and hope you're feeling better. That looked like a long conference you watched so no wonder you were so tired afterwards but bet it was worth it. Loving the cat card, so sweet and he papers on your desk look lush. Happy creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x14x

Happy Birthday! I'm glad you had a good time watching Miss Marple! I love Agatha Christie! I have those days too, when I just need to spend a day in bed! You have a plentitude of papers to work with! Sounds like you had fun at your workshop, that is good! Have a creative week, thanks for your visit, Lindart #19
Hello, Angela! Your Bible journalling class sounds great (except for the late hours LOL)! Good for you for doing the Psalms; I love reading the Bible daily, such a comfort. Your envelope book looks interesting, and of course your kitty card is just purrfect! I love how you coloured the stamp! What a cozy scene! Belated birthday greetings, by the way, and I hope you are feeling better! It's nice to see you joining Christmas Kickstart's Cat Lovers Christmas Challenge again! I hope I will see some more of your cute cards linked up this month! Have a purr-fectly delightful day!
Super envelope journal, I made a right hash of mine pre-conference and still managed to do it wrong initially during the conference DOH! Got it in the end. Doing it all in American time is interesting isn't it, no hubby to make you dinner though. You've just reminded me of the "cards" you sent me which I can add to my journal. Only decorated the first page though so mine is definitely a work in progress. Managed to add some diecuts to the cover yesterday though. Hugs BJ#5
Best Miss Marple agreed! Love your xmas card with the kitties on it. Happy WOYWW! Elle #20, EOTC
A belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you - I hope it was a happy day. Your Bible journaling looks lovely and it sounds like a fun class - especially if it kept you up so late. I'm with you on the whole Miss Marple thing! I love your card and am defiantly going to start looking at my Christmas cards with an eye to upcycling into cards rather then just tags. Hugs, Jo x
I think you probably did over do it! US time zones and staying up late...it definitely catches up with you! So glad though, that you enjoyed the conference enough to want to stay up, it's a nice and good thing, huh! The envelope journal is a triumph, and I must ay, I won't get round to it, but the idea of brayering paint onto a waxed paper to 'pull' papers off is great. So much to learn and try!!
Happy belated birthday! Love your beautiful, vintage style card.
I always thought it looked crazy on my craft table, but your craft table tops it!! But that’s how we creative people are.
You designed a beautiful nostalgic card and I love the cute cat motif!!!!
thanks for visiting my desk already, the bible journalling conference sounds good and fair play for staying up too!
