Welcome to Crafting With Jack, I was determined to make something Monday. After finishing my carved stamp I needed something to stamp in on! I did the back ground first, I tried paint, then ink, but it wasn't very successful so I wiped them both off. Then I tried the foam stamp I made, that wasn't very successful either, but I think it needed an acrylic block. Setting those aside I made a butterfly collage page. Which I am very happy with, I was tempted to do more more to it, but decided to make a similar one to play more with.

These are my stamps. The carved one would have been great if I could have got it smoother, it is a little too rough! Possible a combination of strength and technique - lack of!
My desk for today. I won't say I am completely recovered, but still improving. This cold keeps popping back as if to say "Still here!"
Linking up with Julia's Stamping Ground. I have been messing around with the layout so if things look odd - you know why x

The collage is lovely, I really admire you for creating it - I love the effect but don’t have the knack myself. The carved stamps look great, dont’ give up, I really like the design. I’m glad you’re on the mend but the colds in my area are taking some shifting as well.

What a beautiful collage. It's good to hear you're feeling rather better.

Oh I love the stamps you have made one of my fav in photos etc. Your collage is beautiful. So ready for sunshine and flowers. Cold here, snow melted and today FOG..so brighter days ahead I hope. No green/flowers or walking yet. Just MUD. Enjoy a good week and Happy WOYWW
I love the stamps you've made and don't see a problem with the textural effect but if you don't like it then rubbing it with sandpaper to smooth the serface might make you feel better about it. Loving the collage too. I tend to think when you get so far there is nothing wrong with stopping and maybe adding to it some time in the future, the worst thing is to add to it and be disappointed later. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x5x
Love the collage page and the rough and ready look of the stamped images is cool. You could try applying ink or paint to them with a brayer to create a lithograph effect. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2

The carved stamps are just fab…try attacking the surface with some fine sandpaper or an emery board, makes them flatter and also makes them gold ink a bit better, don’t give up on them, they’re too good and really useful! I like the butterfly collage very much, am super impressed Angela, I don’t know when to stop with such things and invariably end up with a quagmire!
Very glad you’re starting to feel better, it feels a very long haul.
Love the collage! And your carved stamps are great - I like the distressed look!
Happy WOYWW! Susan #6
Love the collage! Hope this reply finds you feeling better and that cold has moved on. I haven't tried carving a 'stamp' since I carved a potato at church camp. Someday. Maybe.
Creative Blessings! ~Kelly #17
