WOYWW 793

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

I have absolutely nothing to show you today!  I guess I could show you my craft room which is almost ready to be seen, but the trouble with almost is it takes longer than you think!

We have been home a week and I have alternated between craft room and bed every day.  I love tins, boxes, containers of all sorts.  Pretty boxes get kept, well because they are pretty! Same with tins. Cardboard boxes get kept because a particular size stops my books and files falling over, journal covers and all the other uses!   Every now and then, enough is enough!  The recycle paper sack is filled with Amazon  packaging and I have got rid of a few old plastic containers too.   My crafting stuff from the caravan hasn’t come in yet, so I am leaving some space for that!

At last! A post that doesn't make me feel lazy!! I mean that in the nicest possible way of course. Whilst I've been recovering I have managed some short spells in the craft room but mainly just sorting. Managed to get my button collection down to one box and free up a shelf, as they were all in colour co-ordinated jars before. I can actually get at them better now though when I last used one on a project is anyone's guess! Have a great week, love n hugs Cindyxx #4

Oh I am a ‘useful’ box, bag and tin person too, you’re not on your own! Well done for purging some of them, when I’m better I shall be doing the same thing!

You know how each particular phobia has a name? I think each particular addiction should have a name although I did invent 'receptacling' a while back, you might remember - it's the art of organising things into, well, receptacles! I guess our addiction would be receptaclist? Hmmm... needs work... Have a great week, Lisa-Jane #9 www.prettymypage.co.uk

My main accomplishment these days seems to be an after lunch nap! And then, if I have time, I will go into my art room. I also love saving nice boxes and tins. I just filled up a Frida Khalo tin with lovely snacks for my computer desk! Hubby likes saving every box anything at all comes in, which can fill up our garage pretty quickly. I go in and quietly fold them flat and put them in recycling, saving just enough that he thinks they are all still there...Have a wonderful week! Lindart #16

I'm terrible for keeping boxes and tins just in case they might be useful but gradually replacing them with Very Useful Boxes. I like them because you can see what's inside without opening them though I do try to label them too. Wishing you a happy woyww, Angela x12x

Always good to do some sorting! I keep all sorts of boxes as they come in for upcycling in many ways! There does come a point when they start to take over though!
My post was done on my phone and so ended up with several errors - notably a missing link. It is there now!
Happy WOYWW! Susan #3
