WOYWW 787

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

First up - ICADs.  I only managed 4 this past week.
I made a concertina journal.  Normally I just fold a long piece of card and decorate, but in this case, the structure was made a page at a time.  I did have difficulty keeping my pages straight, more so with thin paper added on to thick. I forgot to take a picture, so will add one next week.

We visited my sweet MIL Sunday and took her out to dinner for her 92nd birthday.  She had a wonderful time and got quite emotional, and I have been to my niece's three times, more below regarding those visits.

Our first project was a book cover, colour to go on next.

Our second project is a box.  Today we stencilled and put the base coat on.  I had a fabulous time and there are so many wonderful things on display in her studio, I was like a parrot for the first 5 minutes "Oh, I do like that!" "Oh, I do like that!".

I have some catching up to do tomorrow with both ICADs and Junk Journal July prompts.

Have a great week xx

That sounds just like me popping around all the desks! Oh I do like that, Oooh I love this! I really like the look of the book cover - it looks like an interesting technique too. Have a great week, Lisa-Jane #8, www.PrettyMyPage.co.uk

Sounds like you’re having a wonderful time. I don’t take sewing with me in the caravan but always have some crochet or something to do but I didn’t get anything done this time.

I think you'll like the pens, they were easy to start working and the metalic is really good, they give good smooth lines and come with a couple of spare nibs too. Have fun, Angela x11x

Oh my word where does the time go? Fully intended to reply Wednesday, then Yesterday now it's Friday already!!!
Wow the book cover looks amazing already, looks like an "Angela" (as in Felix too) thing LOL. Lovely ICADs and sorry you found the no-sew journal construction challenging. I've not made a card one for a long long time so wasn't comparing when making mine. Loving mine so far, especially how you can merge the pages over the folds. Looking forward to seeing yours.
