Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Julia's Stamping Ground and have a look to see what everyone has been doing. This week I have been doing both digital and also in my craft room.
I made some cat cards for the Cat Challenge only it didn't register in my brain that it was only Christmas themed! I won an Inkylicious stamp set last year, so I stamped 12 cards and coloured a few in with Crafter's Companion glitter pens. I am going to make tags with them.
Not known for actually finishing one thing before starting something new, I wanted to experiment with paint over stencil prints. I downloaded several. I only used a brayer for these. The painted stencil is on the right, not that obvious what it is so I enhanced it digitally on the left and added a branch.
I am sure you recognize this person!
I made several sheets of dots and circle shapes and printed these out and added the paint with a brayer. The two images on the right are from a photograph of Whitby Abbey found on Upsplash. I got the idea for this from Angela's photograph of her visit to Whitby Abbey. I converted the photograph to black and white and added paint (the dark blue one) and then I tweaked the colour digitally for the lighter one.
Finally the workdesk, so my next task is probably finishing the tags.

Love your play with the stencilled images and paint this week Angela. The digital enhancements are great. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
I admire anyone who does digital. I am SO not able to make digital work for me, even though I have an older version of Photoshop. It took me days to figure out how to create my watermark!
I love those cards you will be turning into tags and I adore the cat over the moon. Very Halloween-ish. Happy WOYWW from # 3.
Loving your Abbey pic, it's such a memorable place to visit once you get up to it that is! You have certainly been busy. Loving the cat tags and your busy desk of course. Wishing you a happy creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x14x
You're a digi whizz, I must say. Very smiley that the cats turned into Christmas cats, you must be feeling the subliminal pressure to start preparing! Love what you did with Whitby Abby pics, very atmospheric and just beautiful colouring. We really are fairly local to Stonehenge, it's about 11 miles I expect. Don't go often, (pricey!), but the new visitor centre and removal of one of the roads that ran next to the heel stone has done wonders for the experience!
I love that black and white 'house' photo with the blues... those cats are cute too. Christmas is getting near, time flies isn't it?! Big hug from the Netherlands, Marit #17
I love the cats cards! It’s a great image which could be adapted to all sorts of occasions and events. I’m really impressed with your digi tinkering, I wouldn’t know where to start but the effects are fab. Love the spooky Whitby Abbey!!

Ooh, love the Whitby Abbey print. We haven't been there since BL (before lockdown). Planning on going again in the spring.
