WOYWW 735

It's Wednesday!  Welcome to Crafting With Jack and Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday,  a day for linking up to Julia's Stamping Ground and having a blog wander to see what everyone has been doing.

The weather is changeable and it's been a bit cold and windy this week.  We went to surprise my mother in law on her 91st birthday Friday, had a meal out in the evening to celebrate and came back the next day.

My fragrant worktable this week.  The caravan site owner came around with two bunches of flowers on Monday.  Apparently they had been grown for a wedding, but flowered too soon.  Such a shame for her, but lovely for us.   Can you see Dolly up in the left hand corner :)

I found some inchies, goodness know when they were made. On the opposite side are two made with a Matisse influence.  Well to be honest I did the bottom one of the two first, without checking my Matisse inspiration and discovered what I had done was influenced by one of Tammy's, the lady behind the ICAD challenge (I can still see Matisse in it though)

Remember last week when I said I didn't have any ICADs to show?  Well, when I got my craft stuff out after moving, I found 5 ready to go. So double lot this week.  Using lots of bits and pieces up.

I went to church on Sunday and the hymns were all modern!  I do like a lot of older hymns, but so nice to sing some modern ones.

How lovely to receive those unexpected flowers, they’re beautiful and brightened up the day for sure. Hooray for finding icads you’d made and forgotten, that was helpful eh? And lovely to take your MiL out as well, what a lovely week you’ve had!

Nice you were the recipient of the early blooming flowers. So glad you had a good time with your MIL. I bet she enjoyed herself, too.

I LOVE your ICADs. Mine are a bit blah compared to yours. I can also see Matisse in those cards. They remind me of his collages. Happy WOYWW from # 2.

BTW, you asked if I was going to create a rocking horse AB or journal. I already have. Thanks for asking.

Great idea re the narrow shelf for the reinkers - but same problem here - no room for one (or two or three).
How lovely of the site owner to treat you to those beautiful flowers. Does she know you well? (I spy Dolly) I can't imagine ours doing anything like that although we do have a cheese and wine afternoon most years. We've only been to one as Covid came and stopped them, The garden is full of fruit trees but he never offers it, could sell it to us for charity! Hope h e treats his workers to them, I must ask the manager.
How lovely to celebrate a 91st birthday, I hope she is in good health.
Great crafting Angela, it's ages since I did inchies. I fancy doing some tea cards again.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx

Hi Angela, just got back from mum's, nearly finished. Trying to get round everyone before bed as we're back at the house tomorrow. Pleased you've had a nice time away and loving the ICADs. Gorgeous flowers too. Wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x9x

Glad you liked the new worship songs, although I'm assuming worship songs as opposed to new hymns. I didn't realise there are actually new hymns but I'm not really a hymn person. My flip-through has a worship song in the background. Anyway I digress, loving all the ICADs this week especially the double quota. I adore the fish one and I can just smell the sweet peas from here, how delightful. Hugs BJ#10

Thanks for the visit, we were out and about earlier then entertainment in the park. The guy who sang at our wedding was the vocalist of the evening. He does a lot of 60's Elvis etc Always like the projects you share, great flowers and Congrats to your MIL on 91 and we are having that up and down weather, WE needed the rain so bad for crops so a few days of that was enough. Have a great week

Ooh sweet peas - you lucky girl my favourite scented flower! Great icads, I do like using up bits and pieces, it's very satisfying. Newsflash - I don't know how I made those cards either!! I had watched a video I know, but can't remember now, I'll probably come across it again sometime. Thanks for your earlier visit (and yes Lionel is a real cutie!!) Have a great week, love n hugs Cindyxx #15

Yeah, shame for the wedding preparations but how nice for you to be in the right place to enjoy the sweet peas, they really are amazing little flowers aren't they! Great find with the ICADS, they are lovely, and I can see the artists influence, honest! Hope your MinLaws birthday treat was a success, she really is a grand age isn't she!
