WOYWW 733

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday.  The sun is shining as I type this, but we have had a lot of heavy rain today.  Considering the cracked ground the land needs it.    One consequence of rain is muddy dogs!  Dolly had to have a bath when she came back as she is nearer the ground than the others. 🙂

So what have I been up to this past week!    I spent last Thursday with my niece in her studio.  I showed her a photograph of a tutorial on the taster sessions for Kaleidoscope and asked if she wanted to do something similar.  I had taken all my stuff with me including water soluble pencils, which I had not used before.  Normally I do the drawing on paper and transfer to the watercolour.  I was very pleased with the results.  We also decidedly to do a peacock which was on the taster sessions too.   I had downloaded several peacock photographs, then we did our own thing😊.  Both paintings took several days.

Also I made some ICADs, I may have made a few more than shown, but I was enjoying myself.

Finally, before I link up to Julia's Stamping Ground, a few wedding photographs:

The Cheshire Cat  when he disappeared leaving his smile.

Michelle made the flowers.

Rosemary made this 50's style outfit and matching handbag.  The fabric has an Alice pattern.

I signed up for the Taster series, but not sure why. Every year I think there will be something there with collage, but that was not the case this year. It was all drawing and coloring. I LOVE your peacock. It is stunning. So is that bird.

I keep saying this. You put my ICADs to shame. Yours are amazing and so well done. Lots to see in each, too.

What an amazing wedding. Just super Alice theme. Happy WOYWW from # 1.

Wow, weren't the wedding guests creative! Must have been a lot of fun! I like your I ad cards very much, I particularly like that you may have got carried away, I think that's the whole idea of giving a prompt...you kind of get half way through soemth8ng and suddenly think 'oh 8 could do this with that idea', and off you go again...you were definitely in the zone!
