Jumpers out, shorts away, it’s cold and windy! What a difference a couple of 100 miles and a day makes! We are now in England’s smallest county, Rutland. The biggest news is I have 2 bars, so I have Internet - yay me!🤗🤗. We left behind the red squirrels 🐿️ and the sheep🐑. I saw three red squirrels in the three weeks we were there, of course it could have been the same one on three different days 🤣.
ICAD is here, two months of completing an index card a day. Last year I didn’t finish. Apologies to the person who asked if anyone was doing ICAD this year, I meant to reply in the comments, but obviously by the time I got to the comments, the thought had left me🙄.
I bought a couple of books from the Works that had die cut pictures in, including the phrases above. some of the phrases are a bit big so I have had to cut them down. They also have a little guide how the card is meant to look if you want to follow it, I thought they were good to use too. I decided to do collage because then I can cover up the lines which always irritate me. Apparently you can get blank index cards, but I have a boxful at home so I need to use them up. I have decided to add a white layer to some so I can do some drawing after seeing Kate Hadfield’s cards. I am amazed at the different sizes index cards come in and also different thicknesses when I looked on Amazon. I usually buy mine at W H Smith or which ever supermarket I happen to be in.
Linking up to Julia's Stamping Ground as it is Wednesday - which means "What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday".
One final thought. Anybody know what this emoji means? 🫡
It doesn't seem to show on my computer, but it is half a face with what looks like a dog ear!

I'm hopeless at interpreting emojis! Yay for getting signal! I after its cold here too, we've been cut off from the nice weather lots of people seem to have had . Happy woyww. Helen #2
It seems to be picking up again her but not as sunny as it was, no rain yet though. Good drying weather though. I've had a few days on my own as Des has been out Moderating down south for three days but he's back now. Just put his white shirts in to wash. Loving your index card designs they are a great idea to work on when you're travelling. Wishing you a very happy woyww. Hugs, Angela x11x
How lovely to see those squirrels! It’s still really sunny and warm here in BP but I think we’ll be wearing layers soon enough. I really like your icads, great find of that book in the Works, hope you have fun!

I don't use emojis, so I have no idea. I was the one who asked if anyone was doing ICADs this year. I was so impressed with yours. I've made them for 11 years and am running out of ideas. Mine are really really puny this year due to one handed crafting. I think yours are incredible. I REALLY love the birds! Happy WOYWW from # 4.
I am also doing ICADs again this year, but so far mine are really simplistic line drawings (and I can't draw so to be perfectly honest I don't like mine very much). I love yours, so colourful and interesting. Time to think of a new theme for my next ones. Happy WOYWW. Take care, with love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#15)
What super ICAD cards, love the DYMO wording on the top ones and the birds, lovely. It's super warm down south, glad you took your jumpers with you for your trip "up north". Hugs BJ#6
I've had a manic day and have only just finished....I now have a rail filled with sewing to do and 7 more customers coming tomorrow while we look after Louie all day....it could be a fun filled day :-)
I have happy memories of seeing red squirrels across the road from where I lived as a child but alas they are all gone now.
Hugs,

Sorry I can't help out with the emoji Angela. Loving your ICADs though. A few deskers seem to be playing along this year. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #7
Well done on you ICAD challenge - a great format for your tiny works of art x x Jo
The spray booth is one bought at cha years ago - it is not a box but a 'thing a purpose'. I kind of folds and makes the shape. I would say the larger the box and the better.
Yes, the weather has changed, it is up and down isn't it.
Sorry can't help with the emoji - I am hopeless with them - can do the usual ones and that is it.
Enjoy your time away.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx
I is 10" high x 11" x11" but it folds up flat.

I love your icads. It’s gradually warming up here in the South East from the cold North wind we had, but has been sunny at least. I suspect the emoji is a d*ckhead. Enjoy your travels
Take care

That emoji is doing a salute!!
Great ICAD cards already, my word you’re on it. I’m with you, use up the pile you’ve got, lines and all! My dear pataernak grandparents lived in Rutland, and their cottage ended up with views of Rutland Water which made it even more stunning g. Lovely county, hope you enjoy your stay, and not just because you’ve got a bit of signal!!
Good morning, Angela
I think the emoji is saluting. May have been used around Memorial Day here in the states, maybe?
I moderate for a couple of girls on YouTube (Mon/ Wed) who do an Index Card challenge... more of a mixed media style. Each challenge includes a Theme, 3 things you must use and a technique. They're fun but I'm wayyyyy behind LOL. I need to go back and get the prompts so I can get caught up.
Creative Blessings! ~Kelly #16
