Welcome to Crafting With Jack. It’s Wednesday! That means it’s “What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday" a day where a group of us link up at Julia’s Stamping Ground and go off visiting each other. It would be great to do the visiting for real, but terribly exhausting as we are all over the UK and further away.
I have been busy designing papers and generally having digital fun. One of the things I had trouble with when I was doing my Christmas glue book was finding the right backgrounds for the 8 x 8 book. A few weeks ago I made 100 backgrounds intended for my next book, but decided they added too much bulk and worked well on their own. So I have been printing backgrounds, flowers and fish! The pile is building for a session of cutting out! I spent an hour yesterday trying to fix the error message on my printer. I followed the guidance of the virtual help till I wanted to scream!!
Taking away the black cartridge fixed the problem, but then I had to phone and make sure they were sending me a new one. My printer prints with only one cartridge. While on the phone I tried to renew the warranty, but was told I couldn’t because my 3 year old printer is now obsolete!

I do indeed remember playing cats cradle Angela. A printer obsolete after 3 years sounds about right these days. Loving your husband's outfit! Happy Easter. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #8
My you've been busy, love the fish. Look forward to seeing how you use those. Great outfit too. I've heard of cats cradle but never played it. Yes I can see the elephants head, very cleverly hidden. Before I forget, I like the Arteza brush pens and they are very nice and juicy but I've not had them for very long so not sure how long they will stay like that so maybe you need to ask me next year Lol! I do know that there are other people who blog here that love them which is why I thought I would give them a go. Take care and happy creative woyww Angela xXx
Gosh, Cat's Cradle - takes me back a bit. I guess there are a lot more moves to it than I can do.
Love hubsters outfit, quite the dashing chappy.
I prefer the Chameleon pens which I am using at the moment to anything but then I always seem to be the odd one out when liking art supplies. I've only just started to use them so may change my mind but to date they are A ok.
Can't find the elephant. But then I am still with the Minutes and they are driving me nuts. Not the actual typing of them but the saving and exporting.
Take care and have a lovely Easter.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx
3 years for a printer to go obsolete, what is the world coming to! Hope your Psalm book arrives tomorrow. There are quite a few other Psalms I quite like as well as the old favourite (23). How about 139, did a study on it a few years ago and now it a firm favourite. Psalm 30 has one of my favourite scriptures v5. And Psalm 27:4. Just wondering "how" you create the pages you print, do you use a graphics programme or something? The Bible journaling groups I follow have shops for their printables but I tend to just get the freebie ones. Just wondered how they create them and thought you might know. Looking at your desk, wondering it you sell them too - LOL. Hugs BJ#5
Clean forgot to mention I spotted the elephant head after a little while of concentrated looking. Yes I played Cats Cradle, and doesn't your hubby look dapper. BJ#5
Happy WOYWW. Cats Cradle - I have distant memories of that. I think I struggled with it. I have to stop myself printing off a lot of digistamps, backgrounds, stickers etc, or I end up with folders full of them. Now I just print what I need for a specific project. I have struggled with my printers for over a year now. One will not work at all with my new pc, the other one will only work if I connect with a cable. Sometimes I think of treating myself to a new one - but trying to be frugal as we start to think about retiring from the farm. I don't do a lot of printing now, so will just make do. I am not making cards for charity anymore. Ali x #11
yes, I remember Cat's cradle - I was useless, could only do very basic "cradling" lol. Hubby looks fab in his outfit. even over his clothes! 3 years for a printer to go obsolete is - obscene! what a dreadful society we have become! Happy WOYWW Helen #3

Wow, who is that dandy in your kitchen??! Your hubby looks great and will wow them at the wedding! I think printers are the one thing that make my usually quiet husband swear blue murder, hope you get yours sorted soon. And well done with those images, they’re fabulous!

I did see the elephant head right away, but at first thought is was a shark! Your hubby looks great! Things just don't last as long as they should, it's crazy. It used to be a selling point that something would last! As soon as someone improves on something, they start improving the new one so the one they just made becomes obsolete. I guess it keeps the money flowing and the technology moving forward. You have a lot of fussy cutting ahead of you! I used to play cat's cradle, I have a whole book on it! Have a wonderful Easter! Hi Angela so bad re these rapidly obsolete things filling up landfill disgusting waste IMHO. I bought an eco printer to save on ink and its three years old, and just changed ISP and having no end of trouble since setting up new wifi.
Did have huge chuckle at hubby's outfit! will no doubt look better not over clothes.
Happy Resurrection Day, Gods blessing for it with all your dear ones, we are so rich in what Jesus did for us!
Thanks for Sharing, God bless and all those you love,
