WOYWW 871

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

On the TV the other day a newsreader said the continuous rain hadn’t quite reached Biblical proportions, but it was close to being 40 days and 40 nights!  My heart goes out to all those affected by the floods, the situation made worse by insurance companies who no longer payout for such disasters.

Which leads nicely into where I am in Genesis!

The hearts are for a challenge, not ready yet.

I went to A&E last Wednesday having been told to go by the doctor. The latest thinking is that it is nerve pain, untreatable apart from strong painkillers.  They are reducing the pain to a manageable level.

I have been creating with Ai. Very rarely content with just one or two images I tend to carry on until the ideas have been exhausted or I need forty winks!

Hearts.

Swans, Doves for another project.

Nerve pain sounds nasty. I hope it calms down for you. I love your hearts creations - it's such a lovely shape to work with and you've found lots of variations.x x Jo 🌈

Nerve pain is nasty, in fact I read an article about it on the BBC the other day, it's hard to work out what's wrong and where. Glad the painkillers are helping but it doesn't sort out where the problem is! I still marvel at AI, those hearts are fab!

sorry to hear that you may have to be on strong painkillers for the issue - like Jan says, they need to sort out the problem. You can take them forever! I love the hearts, well done. Helen #1

So sorry that there isn't a definitive answer to your pain other than stronger pain meds - prayers coming your way now! Love the Biblical flood reference, it certainly feels like that. We fortunately live up on the North Downs so no really affected much here. Love how you take a theme/image and run with it. I'm going to binge the BB Bash videos on fast forward hopefully before they expire on 14th. One more Calm session today. I signed up for the week's painting bonus yesterday but not started yet... Hubby isn't well at present so that's another thing on the list. Hugs BJ#9

I really hope they get to the bottom of your pain soon Angela and that the pain killers work in the mean time. Not at Mum's as I have a rotten cold and didn't want to inflict it on her. Making quick visits between samples. Stay safe and happy belated WOYWW. Sarah

I love your journal pages and thoughtful study of Genesis. People know about Noah's flood but don't want to know the One who saved Noah and his family. The evidence of a global flood is all around us. Our thoughts and prayers for those who are affected by flooding and also for you mon amie.

It's hard to believe how much rain you are getting in the UK - I get constant updates from my Sister in Devon and Brother in Derby. Whereas here we have had little rain and very high winds and temps. I am loveing your artwork here and in Tiny pieces... I was commenting last night (I knew I was late but better late than never!!) but then we had a 9 hour power outage so I stopped! And today its going to be 37 degrees! Happy WOYWW! Susan #15
