“[Christ Crucified Is God’s Power and Wisdom] For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” -1 Corinthians 1:18 Listen to chapter

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

I have been doing some lettering.

This little book is a diary organizer from 2014, I think.  I added images from scrapbook paper to some pages.  JoDitt has been giving lessons on Fruitful Creativity and I have gained some tips that I hadn't thought of.

We have got my dear MIL with us at the moment and we have been sat outside enjoying the beautiful blue sky and surprisingly warm sun.

I have Bible group this morning so I will catch up with you later x

Thank you for your comment on my blog post today. Yes you can see a paperweight on my desk, actually three! The two round flattish ones were my hubbys - the smaller round blue one I had for my baptism. Also a stone I decorated with a heart and there's another stone out of shot too... All jolly useful for making sure stuff is flattened or stuck properly or doesn't fly away or as a reminder that I need to action the stuff under them (i.e. receipts). Funny thing is I sometimes confuse them for my mouse and try to click and move the pointer on my PC with them - LOL. Fruitful creativity sounds good maybe you could share the tips...Super lettering, it's cool writing out verses with different fonts as the moment takes us isn't it? Hugs BJ#12

Same here Angela, slightly bundled up but taking any opportunity to sit in the sun in between chores! Hope your Ma in Law is enjoying her stay. Love lettering, am not good at it and don’t practice enough, but I like the trying, always looking at signage and hand written stuff for ideas - like those dots between letters - nice!

Enjoy the sun and MIL. Loving the upcycling of old stash with your make too. Your comment on my page re where to buy stash now places are closing, yep, that's the problem as I don't tend to buy online so I must keep my eyes peeled for any craft shops when I am out and about now! We have quite a few fabric shops where I live and I can think of one local large craft shop but not many. Kyla
