Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

Apologies for a late post, we still have my dear MIL with us and also are packing for the caravan.  I like to keep her company and we tend to nod off together 😃.

This was my granddaughter's present to her mother on Mother's Day.  Stupidly, I photographed it on a pink box which was not a good background so a hasty bit of cutting out was required.  The left heart is the lid, the top one is what you saw when opened and the bottom one the inside.  This is the sort of crafting Rynn likes, construction and I thought she made a marvellous job of it.

This is displayed on the chair in my craft room as the desk is covered as I sort what to take.  My order from Temu.  Some lovely houses washi tape along with a pack of tiny houses, a fabric book, and various crafting stuff.  Underneath is some Chinese paper.  It is much thinner than I expected, but that may be a good thing.

My MIL is being taken home tomorrow, so still time to pack away the last bits.  I also have been doing a lot of sorting out files on my laptop, prior to doing a back up. At the moment I am printing out some sheets to cut out.  See you all later x

This was on my desk last week. now finished.

We went to see Ball and Boe a week ago.  We both really enjoyed the performance.  The picture on the left was taken not far from the Arena and the picture on the right was in our bedroom.

More lettering in JoDitts group. I learnt block lettering this past week.  A couple of years ago I used some stickers in an A6 sketch book.  I am not sure what my original idea was, but I thought I would use it for my lettering.  More suited to short verses I think.

My dear MIL fell off a chair yesterday, I think she misjudged where the chair was.  She didn't have far to fall, and although she insisted she was fine, I think she will be a bit sore for a few days.

I will catch up with you all later.

I have been doing some lettering.

This little book is a diary organizer from 2014, I think.  I added images from scrapbook paper to some pages.  JoDitt has been giving lessons on Fruitful Creativity and I have gained some tips that I hadn't thought of.

We have got my dear MIL with us at the moment and we have been sat outside enjoying the beautiful blue sky and surprisingly warm sun.

I have Bible group this morning so I will catch up with you later x

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

I have been doing a whole lot of different things.  I joined “Fruitful Creativity with JoDitt Williams” a couple of months ago.  Normally I join things and don’t play an active roll, but I have been quite consistent with this one.  Of course, WOYWW has been my longest running ever commitment!  Anyway, the top 10 members were gifted a book or other goods from her shop.  I had a book which was one I had been thinking about buying so I was happy!   This one thing we did, we had to fill in these two sheets, I was quite hesitant as I never know how to approach these things:

I really enjoyed doing this, I didn't know you could add stickers in the edit section. Not great art, but just simple fun with an IPad pencil!

I was looking at a Pinterest email, specifically at what I think was a washi tape roll, it was one of those links that leads nowhere!   I started wondering about making one.  I looked into buying till rolls on Amazon, but they were expensive.  Then I had an idea.  When we went shopping at Tesco I bought a children’s roll of paper.  My husband used a saw to cut the roll into suitable lengths,   I started one with some paint, then stamping, then some doodling.

In the middle you can see my Designer Roll,  I tried to paint some flowers on card with watercolour, it didn't work that well, so I printed the second lot on watercolour paper.  I am in the middle of a journal page.  I have been doing some stencilling. Unfortunately, I dropped the stencil into a bowl of water forgetting it was paper! 😞

I used the page to make this:

I scanned some printed Tim Holtz birds as I wanted them bigger and used a Collage Soup background and some additional lines to create these:
The pink and blue one I coloured in on my IPad, just trying out my new IPad pencil.  The flowers I did on my IPad too.  I have a few projects in the pipeline and I should have the journal page finished too.  See you later.
