Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.
The sun is shining this morning, not sure how warm it is outside though. I will find out when my grandson comes to the back of the garden. He is a ray of sunshine himself. I say "Hello Joshua, how are you doing?" He responds "Fine thank you, what have you been doing this morning?". A minute or two of chat and a hug makes my day!
Yesterday morning I thought I would water the plants before breakfast. I spilled some water, in mopping it up I knocked the atomiser over, which spilled water on the carpet! In moving a plant out of the way it fell over and left soil on the carpet! The spilled water was in a hard to reach position and I was back and forth to the kitchen getting kitchen towel as I had spilled more than I thought. In trying to clear up the soil I made more of a mess 😒. I staggered into the kitchen and my husband said "What on earth have you been doing?"😦 (Chronic fatigue sufferers will immediately understand) It set the tone for the entire day. I did manage to do some colouring, but that was it.
The seahorse is for a collage I am planning. I have had this colouring page for several years, originally I was going to draw one, but I discovered this in my "Sea" box. ( There was a pause here while I went out to say hello to Joshua 😊) All things related to the sea, stamps, dies, images are in my "Sea" box.

I can just picture you struggling to clear up your mess…I would be the same so you have my sympathy.

Oh Angela, what a pickle you got in. Glad it is all over now and you managed to calm down (with a bit of crafting).
Not surprised you enjoy your chat with your grandson, sounds just perfect.
Hugs and Thanks for the little poem you sent to me, really lovely and much appreciated.
Hugs, Neet 9 xx
I sympathise with the knock on of disasters, sometime it just seems to go that way, I hope all was cleared up ok. How lovely to have your grandson come and brighten up your day, that beats everything hands down! I love the seahorse and look forward to how that progresses.

What lovely moments with your grandson - sigh. Oh my life with the water/soil scenario, sounds much like me some days, glad you managed some colouring afterwards though. Oh the "sea" box sounds great. The interlocking accordion book looks mighty complicated on the link so I commend you for making one. I think I might need to familiarise myself with the other book constructions you use. The one with the ribbons looks lovely, some links to that and the hinge one would be helpful if you have a mo. Oh I did smile at your mishap - not at you but me. I lifted our roasted veg from the oven and caught the edge on the shelf sending them cascading onto the hot oven door. Chaos ensued and I scraped the contents onto a plate and hoped for the best. Then I set too cleaning up the greasy mess dribbling down the door and onto my kitchen floor! That's life. Hope your week is better this week. x x the
Your description of your situation made me think of an old Willie Nelson song, "The Last Thing I Needed First Thing This Morning..." My eldest grandson is named Joshua, and for all of his life, the sound of his voice has had the power to right all the wrongs in my day!
I love your Seahorse! I look forward to seeing the completion of your book!
Here is another link but it is AmazonUS
The photo printer works only with photo paper, I believe.
I did select certain areas of my studio (the most chaotic areas) but my desk was in the first seconds of the video. I am reviewing a pair of blue-light glasses, and I had those set up next to my computer. My studio is usually orderly, but at the first of the year when the new products drop, I try to get a lot of major items. Then I can cruise for the next five months.
