WOYWW 887

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday. Linking up at Sarah’s CraftShed.

Highlight of this week has been a trip to Cardigan.  The weather was great for a wander around.  When I saw this chap, I just had to have him.  He is not the same colour both sides, I much prefer his blue side!  I was told that he is printed with a 3D printer and made from Cornstarch plastic!  He is biodegradable and will disappear in a few hundred years.  To which I replied “As long as he doesn’t do it on my mantelpiece!”

I did an abstract piece following on from a free workshop:

I used a set of Posca Paint pens, the pink and yellow were a bit neon so It was reworked several times.

I am studying John’s Gospel.  I started creating a Faith Art page only to make a mess of it with a few drops of water.  So  started again:

First ICAD, I don’t normally do the prompts,  but quite enjoyed doing this one : Surfboard.

There was a huge cardigan on display in Cardigan, I thought some of you might be interested in this fantastic piece of art.

I love Cardigan a lot, we go there quite often, it’s got a great vibe and I love the market hall. Looks like you had a fun time, that enormous piece is quite stunning, so much detail! Hooray for the 3d model being done in biodegradable material, so much better than plastic!

Oh my word what a magnificent cardigan in Cardigan! Your take on the surfboard prompt is brill. Glad you were able to start again with your faith art page. I did similar with a printable from Kim's freebie - reprinted but kept the original which I have just put on my daily for a month scripture writing page. Really ought to show those on my desk! Anyways, will be all Encounters next week. Super abstract and I can see why you liked the dinosaur, he's cute. Hugs Bj#4

I adore your surfboards and the Cardigan cardigan! It’s brilliant that people are doing 3d printing with biodegradable material. I’m not sure what to call him, but his blue side is definitely best.
Have a good week

What an amazing cardigan Angela. Love the 3D print - and biodegradable is certainly better than plain plastic. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
