WOYWW 863

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

I was amazed to see a family of longtailed tits in my garden the other day.  We have not seen them before.  After watching them for a few moments. I went to get my camera, I switched it on and the battery died!  I haven't seen them since, but I was very happy to have seen them and you never know they mat come back.

A month or so ago I spotted a Robin mdf Christmas decoration in the Range.  I thought I would buy one, my husband suggested we buy three and I could paint one each for our children.   I thought it would be nice and easy. - Wrong!  Each layer piece had an edge and I kept getting paint on the layer underneath, so I was continually touching up.  I tried a spray on the first one, but it wouldn’t dry so I washed it off under the tap.🙄  now they are finished I am quite happy although I probably wouldn’t buy anything similar.  The backgrounds are gold, the photograph not quite the true colour.

Mary Ann sent me a link for a half price year on Creative Fabrica’s Ai.  There was a free trial so I signed up. I clicked on a download button to download the coins to “pay” for the images, I didn’t read it properly and clicked away my free trial!  The cost was £26.99, so I chalked that one down to my fault!  I have had a go and of course it’s different to the one I have been using.  Then a blinking eye appeared and it means I have a viewer, which feels a little uncomfortable, so I need to find out about that.

I was pleased with the candle and holder, the backgrounds are a little OTT, but I only had a quick try.

I love long tailed tits, they’re so sweet and funny the way they chatter to one another, we quite often get them in our garden. The AI thing sounds interesting but the viewer eye would freak me out a bit, I tend to avoid stuff like that!

Your link is going to last week for some reason but I got here anyway. That's interesting as we've been seeing the Long tailed tits in the garden too. I love the MDF robins though it sounded like hard work colouring so well done for finishing them. Wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x10x

I have added the correct link Angela as it was linked to last week's post. Love how the robins ended up - well worth the hassle. Hope the next time those long tailed tits appear your camera battery is working. Sarah

The robins are lovely and well worth the effort it took to get them looking so splendid. I love longtailed tits but have only had them in my garden a couple of times - hopefully they'll visit again. The AI thing just goes over my head I'm afraid - I would definitely feel uncomfortable with the blinking eye!
Hope you have a lovely Christmas,
Hugs, Diana xx #13

I love seeing ‘new’ wild birds, but can be sure they’ll disappear if I get my camera, and especially on the national birdwatch weekend. Where do they all go?
Your robins look lovely despite them being a pain.
Happy WOYWW

We love our little long tailed tits. They seem to flock with blue tits and fly across our garden through our big old crab apple tree. They are like little pinky beige parrots 😃 Happy Christmas x x Jo 🌈

Yes long tail tits are glorious. The software stuff sounds interesting though and hopefully you can work it out.

Thanks for your comment this week. I overestimated the state of my recovery and have been struggling with my wound the past few days. Determined to visit everyone this week but just a generic comment to save on the typing, been awake since 4am too - oh Man Hugs BJ#1
