WOYWW 852

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

A rose from my neighbours garden and a caterpillar from our shed, a Pale Tussock Moth caterpillar to be precise.  when my husband first showed it to me I said it looked like a toothbrush!

We have had visitors for the past two weeks and have been out for most days.  They went home on Monday so not a lot of anything got done.  I did make a new book for my Ezekiel study, by sticking scrapbook papers folded on the spine side one inch, together and have added the printed sheets.  This is my third and final book.  The first was was A5 size and I realized the image pages I had created while we were away, would not fit.  The second was a spiral bound book that was too big and bulky, I think the third one is just right!!

I need to give it a cover, finish decorating the pages and there are a few more pages to come.

So that's it for me x

I love seeing how you enjoy making books and binding them in different ways.
Wow, it doesn't seem two minutes since you were away travelling all over in your campervan and now you come home and have visitors for two whole weeks. You certainly live a busy life Angela. Keep it up, it's keeping you young.

Your book looks interesting, I have a journal journal to finish but it's on hold at the moment as I can't use my printer. Wow, I don't think I have seen a caterpillar like that before and your neighbours roses are beautiful Michelle x

Ah Goldilocks and the 3 journals it would seem, glad you found the right one for your purpose. Not had much trouble with our smart meter till now and we've had it just over 2 years now. Must remember to scan the envelope - thanks for the nudge. Hugs BJ#9

Your book looks very interesting and I'm glad you got it just right in the end. I think the little caterpillar is delightful - I don't see nearly as many as I used to in the garden so it's alwasy a thrill to find one.
Hope you have a good week,

What an amazing caterpillar, I’ve never heard of that before and you’re right, it does look like a toothbrush! I’m always interested to see how you do your books and journals, you’re very good at different techniques. Hope your vertigo is better now.

A beautiful rose Angela. Love how different all the methods are that you use for your journal creating - very inspiring. Just back from my flu jab. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah

The third try is always the best! Gorgeous rose! snd lovely fluffy caterpillars! I wonder what they will look like when they change? Just Googled them - not as pretty as the caterpillars! Lindart #15 PS-sorry about the purple square, I don’t know how it got there, but Blogger did some upgrades with AI…

Your neighbor's roses are gorgeous. I love journaling about my Bible studies too, because it helps me center and process my thoughts. Blessings!

Admiring your tenacity with the book sizes Angela, if at first.... that moth looks as if someone has done a blanket stitch around out at first glance! Cute hairy thing! I have a rose that ry colour, but it seems to be finished, lucky neighbour. Golly Angela, out every day for nearly two weeks...I'd be collapsing in an armchair for about a week now !
