Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

We have had visitors all week so we have been out and about.  A quick flavour of what I have been up to this past week:

Albert Docks including me and semi precious stones; Shrewsbury left hand photograph; Chester, the balloon dog seat and my granddaughter in her own outfit with her Cruella de Ville expression!

Fun in AI:

I wanted a sleeping bear to illustrate a little poem, so of course I had a play. Cezanne; Franz Marc; Picasso and Kandinsky styles.

My Ezekiel study included some Freeform pages which I made on holiday to print out when I got home.  To get the images small enough to go in the book made them unreadable, so a change of plan was needed. I bought a weekly planner book from a charity shop which is two inches wider and taller.  Instead of writing it all out again, I am printing the text pages and sticking them in. Then printing the image pages and I shall probably add extra images too.  I shall probably redo the image pages as the resolution wasn't the best.

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

Once again there has been very little crafting going on.  I had a seven hour wait in A&E, to discover my heart is okay(ish); my brain is okay, diagnosis vertigo!  Since the pharmacy had closed by the time I left the hosptal, I had another hours wait for the prescription the following morning.

Our friends have come to stay today, so probably not much crafting this week.  My friend always brings me a bag of goodies, that she has found in charity shops ( her favourite past time!).  Today she bought me a new mug; a 12 x 12 scrapbook paper pad, a little stamp set and a beautiful handmade journal.  She is so special to bring me gifts.

The paper is quite pale, but I think you can see the designs. My friend fell and broke her shoulder a few months ago, and getting on the train she fell, bruised, but nothing broken,  She said the Railway staff were wonderful, even upgraded them to first class.  I think she will develop a real shiner in the morning.

I have a hospital procedure for Wednesday morning, a new method of taking cells from the oesophagus, which involves swallowing a tablet which is actually a sponge.  I  hope I will be brave.

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

Once again, no new crafting to show, I was planning to go into my craft room yesterday, but instead helped my husband with one of the fish ponds.  My job was fairly easy, I sat on a chair while my husband poured buckets of water through a net to catch the fish.

When my daughter said the pond was getting very green I ordered a product from Amazon.  Unfortunately, she didn't read the instructions and just poured the liquid into the pond without mixing with water first.  So we decided to change the water.

The Minnows, I think we have had nearly three years.  They came from someone's large (think lake) pond.

The freshly filled pond.

While we were away the two Koi fish died and the pond apparently smelt awful, so my daughter and grandson emptied the pond.

This pond is on the opposite side of the garden.

I am amazed how big the black fish have grown, I call them "My Boys", but I have no idea of their sex.  So I have four ponds and a big tub filled with water that has waterlillies in.  The left hand side of the garden the other side of the ponds, is my little "wood".

Well that was a different post!

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.  Today is not Wednesday, obviously, but I am still joining in!

The reason for the very late posting, is that I have been putting my craft stuff back into my craft room.  My dear husband thought it was much better to get in a bit at a time and put it away.  Twice I thought I had finished and he brought another load in!  I prefer my normal method of everything coming at once.

Of course I had a sort out while I was doing it and here is the end result:

I had a delivery from Hunkydory.  They give a free card making set every month to members, you just have to pay postage.  I don’t often order them, but I do like poinsettias and I got a couple of masks too.

I hope next week to have done some kind of art, until then have a great week.
