WOYWW 836

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

The top left card was made from some wallpaper that was available at B&Q

Most of the images I have used I have had for such a long time, it's about time they got used.  The tiny mouse in the top left card is from a Beatrix Potter set.

On the left you can see a rolladesk that I bought from a charity shop, for a mere £2.99.  I have wanted one for ages so I just had to have this one.  The cards are smaller than I would have liked, but still, I now have one and I hope I will start using it.
On the right above is a stage 1 and stage 2 ICAD.  I saw a few minutes of one of the Encounters course lessons or it may have been somewhere totally different 🤣🤣.  It was Matisse inspired. I cut up a napkin piece, but it looked a bit dull, so I used my acrylic pens to draw some more shapes, still not too happy, so I went over the main napkin pieces with a green acrylic pen.

The last one takes me up to date with my ICAD cards.  These things always look better in my head!

Are you going to use the Rolladex for your iCards? If so, that is a genius way of displaying them! Great to use up some long lost stash too!

A rolladex looks ideal for saving your cards. I love the ICADs and the red then green one looks very reminiscent of a Matisse. Yes, we used neat washing up liquid, enough to cover but not too much.
Happy WOYWW, hugs

It's great to see you using up old stuff. I certainly need to do more like that. I bought a Rolodex years ago and had the intentions of using all my new stamps on the cards to make a record of what I've got but sadly it's left forgotten after about eight cards used I never got back to it. They make great little technique sample cards too. I have ideas but probably too many Lol! Wishing you a creative woyww. Hugs Angela x7x

I use a Rolodex to keep track of where I keep things. I have so much I never find so this helps me immensely.
:Love the iCads, especially the lady ones.
Thanks for the tips re the scooter, I hoped to do the canal walks - is this impossible? I might try them out , can always sit and read my book .
Hugs, Neet 2 xx

Oh a rolladesk amazing, hear about them on Call the Midwife. Bible Journaling Ministries do faith decks parts to their printables, I'm guessing one of the same. You didn't have to do buildings for the first Encounters session, some ladies did wildly different things, but yes a gardening magazine would be good. My house group leader was giving me her RHS mags but we have joined now so I'll be getting one a month. Hugs BJ#5

Back again, saw your question about the balloons. They were die cut from some Clarity papers that have swirly patterns on them, they are really useful. Then just attached them on the top and added Glitter glue. Happy crafting, Angela xXx
