Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.
I know I am incredibly late with my anniversary ATC, but yesterday and Monday I made some. I tried several different things. I used my acrylic paint pens and did some collage. The one that is horizontal is a landscape. I did two abstract ones, but I didn’t think the colours went together so I applied some gesso with a sponge. I feel they need something else, but not sure what. I am thinking of using a distress ink.
I tried out some liquid inks. I added a few drops of into a container and added a little water. I was just trying to get a background. I used a sketchbook for the first few and then a mixed media pad. Oddly the sketchbook paper seemed to bear the water better than the mixed media one and I preferred the results. (Top row)
I actually did a colouring page on the IPad in Freeform. I thought it would be good practice in controlling the stylus pen.
See you all later !

I never knew you could get acrylic paint pens, you learn something new every day! I like all your green backgrounds especially the bottom row, I’m very into green recently where I normally go for blues. Once again I admire your tech skill, I don’t have a stylus for my ipad so wouldn’t know where to begin!

Ben has acrylic paint pens- we love them for all sorts of jobs. He used the white one to mark out a football pitch he made with green felt.😃 The ATCs are fine. Where do these years go? The year is flying by. x x Jo 🌈
Gorgeous work , love those colours. Happy crafting ! Helen #2
Beautiful work, I like your greens! Was the sketchbook heavier paper than the mixed media? I guess the sketchbook book could just have better sizing?
Happy WOYWW

More fun here again today. I'm late as we had to go out today so on catch up. Sometimes projects just take longer to complete but you'll get there. Wishing you a very happy woyww. Hugs Angela x8x
Adorable ATCs the bird is well cheeky and I love the little houses. The green backgrounds are super too and always amazed at what you achieve on the ipad, brilliant. Yes having the sewing machine out on a separate "permanent" table was brilliant for Making Zen. I was pretty busy, hence my late reply. There were quite a few "New Agey" type spiritual things which I ignored so I have an "owl" without the spirit LOL - Hugs BJ#5
ooh love the face on the bird, made me laugh :-) yes love the different sort of pens, the acrylic paint pens are great at all sorts of weird and wonderful surfaces.
