WOYWW 831

Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.

I have been taking it easy in our first week of our holidays.

I fussy cut a small mountain of images that I had printed before we left.  Read a book, the first of many I expect.  I have been doing lettering, both hand lettering and

Using a stylus on the IPad, I discovered tools and methods I didn’t know about.

It is a busy time for free courses.  Some have been disappointing, some good, as usual I sign up for everything I think might be interesting.  Considering the room my craft stuff takes up I need to be getting some of it out.  Shopping trip to Tesco yesterday and I bought some lettering pens to try some faux calligraphy and an A4 pad as I left mine at home.  I also bought a nice blue and green mix scarf, considering the amount I have at home I didn't pack even one!

There’s always room for more craft stuff and scarves! I have a fair collection as well and use them a lot in winter. You did cut out a heap of images, hope you have fun working out how to use them all.

Blue and green together makes for a happy me in fabric so I bet your scarf is lovely.
How interesting to settle down to lettering in various forms and watch lessons from others. I once thought I would try it but never really got off the ground.

You've been busy. I did chuckle at the left at home replacements. The breeze has been chilly so you will be glad of a cosy scarf. x x Jo 🌈

Ah I see some "Forgive" elements in the mix of the fussy cuts. Finding those series a bit "samey" trying to resist the freebies but.... it's hard. I've signed up for a few free courses too including the Zen one on the back of Casey Turner being a presenter this time but having looked at the lineup, I'm not too bothered with most of them. Still looking forward to the Jonah series, especially as I won it....still waiting, seems to be a thing, things being late.....curious???!!! Loving the IPad writing on the wavey lines that's cool, glad you are enjoying JoDitt. Thanks for the stencil suggestion, I will give it a go, have tried with ink and not really worth returning anyways, too much hassle. I do have a geli plate who knows??? Thanks again Angela Hugs BJ#1

I think there’s no such thing as too many scarves! Your lettering looks great and I’ll be interested to see how you use your fussy cut shapes.

That is so typical isn't it to go away and not take something important. (Like glue to a crafting retreat!!). I have done some sign ups, I enjoy the focus it gives me otherwise all the options I hve in my room are overwhelming. But not lettering I'm afraid, requires too much discipline so yay you. See you Weds!! Cindyxx
