Welcome to Crafting With Jack and What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a day when we link up to Sarah's Craftshed and have a look to see what everyone has been doing.
Yesterday we were expecting British Gas to come and flush the radiators. Since they needed easy access to the radiators I had to clear that side of my craft room. My trolley got taken into the dining room and everything on the floor I put on my working surface. The caravan heating had been on all night as we were planning to spend the day in there and then eight minutes before their time of arrival, they cancelled! The next appointment is two weeks away. It made such a difference to the look of the room with that area cleared, I wondered if I could compromise with the space. I spent most of the day doing work a bit, rest a bit!
This is the entrance to my craft room, you can see I have spilled into the hallway. The radiator is on the left, just a bit further than the chest of drawers. I turned the trolley as that gave a bit more room.

Your faith art looks lovely Angela. Your craft room looks busy! i'd love to rummage in all of those cylinders that are on their sides, good idea to use them like that.
Hugs, Neet 2 xx
Hi Angela. What a nuisance for them to cancel so late. Lovely to have a good look at your sewing room.
My chicks are called Cluckles not chuckles :-) Predictive text could be at fault.

How annoying to clear away then have them cancel. Your faith art is fabulous. Helen #3
I'm not impressed with British Gas doing that and then making the next appointment so far on. Hope you manage to stay warm for the next two weeks. Hope you find a good use for the cipboard albums too but I can relate to that problem. Wishing you a very happy woyww, hugs Angela x8x
Can't quite get my head around your radiator situation but know only too well about the gas works being cancelled/postponed. We are having the gas main done and our house was planned on the 2nd leg which should have been the w/c 13th Jan but they had pressure problems so have filled in all the holes in our road and so they could open the road access and closed it the other side to sort the issue before returning to us maybe at the end of February! It's a total nightmare. Jolly good job I refused to empty the cupboard when husband suggested (although some items already moved) and rang them. Aaaarrrhhh!!! The fabric book binding is on you tube somewhere, but I just remembered from the retreat with a screen shot I took. Still sewed it back to front for the first page so had to undo it but all sorted in the end. As I mentioned to Mary Anne an even number of pages is best so you start and end with the outermost tabs, much neater. Adore your faith journal, it doesn't look too big to me, all mine are bulging. I just tie ribbons round them when finished. Oh and yes the operation for my hand is defo on the cards in the future, I'll need to see how the second injection goes as the nerve conduction only showed up as mild still despite the symptoms. Gosh I'm on a roll today, will I ever get round to everyone? Hugs BJ#1
Love all that faith art Angela. So frustrating about the cancellation by British Gas - hope you can sort things so it doesn't take too much work the second time around. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
Your craft room certainly looks full-to-bursting! Just like mine! I hat when people cancel on me just before they arrive, but at least they called, and didn't leave you hanging, that' even worse. The Faith book pages are all lovely! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #14
Oh Angela, your craft room's just like mine...spilling out in to the hall...bedroom, living room! What a bummer about the Gas people! My radiator is under the window. Sometimes I thunk it might damage the boxes of stamps I have on the windowsil but there's nowhere else for them to go. I've not done a woyww this week as I feel soooo guilty not getting round to everyone, I;m up early and to bed late just catching up on 'stuff'. To day the van had to have a service....could hve done that when it had its MOT at the beginning of the month! This after noon, I bravely opened the fridge in the garage....after two years of not being opened ...it wasn't nice...millions and millions of dead midgie flies you get round the fruit bowl in every where! ... yuck....its nearly done! have a great week doing what you love doing! Happy WOYWW Day...((Lyn))
ps!! I forgot to say, your journal pages look fantastic!
What a nuisance that the gasen cancelled at the last minute! Loved the glance into your craft room. I think it could look like mine! Super journal pages!
Happy WOYWW! Susan #12
