Half O'Ween last post.

Today is the last day for the Something Wicked This Way Comes Half O'Ween hop at LeighSBDesigns and therefore my last post.  I drew this spider yesterday, finishing her off today.

She is rather fierce and scary  Take care and see you soon x Angela

Half O'ween 30 May

Another post for Something Wicked This Way Comes Half O'Ween  at LeighSBDesigns. The hop finishes tomorrow and I have really enjoyed taking part. I hope to get a couple more done tomorrow.

This happy ghost picture is from last year, they all look enthusiastic for some haunting!  Love Angela x

Back again for another post for Something Wicked This Way Comes Half O'Ween at LeighSBDesigns and my last post for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers hop at coffeelovingcardmakers

Another mug, I left off the roses this time and made it nearly black. The background comes from a PSE graphic and I gave the mug a orange glow behind to make it stand out.  I tried to make some tiny bubbles coming from the liquid inside the cup, but they are tiny :)
Another week of lockdown nearly ended, but they are making hints of loosening it a little.  Hope you are all keeping well x Angela

I am also entering this design atdie-cut-divas.blogspot.com. Last post of the day, but I will see you I hope tomorrow x Angela

WOYWW and a couple of hops!

Today is What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday and last week my unfinished project was to sort out my cling stamps, well - who knew I had so many?  It was a huge job and I was so glad my husband helped with taking the stamps of the backing, some were so hard to take off.  I finally finished yesterday, but the workdesk is full of debris and I have been working on my digital art this week so instead of an actual desk, here is what I have been working on:

….and this is todays for both the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers hop at coffeelovingcardmakers.com and the Something Wicked This Way Comes Half O' Ween hop at LeighSBDesigns.

The jug started off a simple line art which was quite small.  I really have been enjoying my digital art this week.  I also entered this design at die-cut-divas.blogspot.com Now I am off to post at Julia's, our host for WOYWW and comment on all the lovely desks.  Don't be surprised if you see me back later x

Half O' Ween and Coffee Lovers blog hop 27 May (1)

Another sunny Welsh morning here, and another post for the Something Wicked This Way Comes Half O'Ween hop at LeighSBDesigns and the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers hop at Coffeeloving cardmakers.com. Yesterday I thought I would copy and paste that information and the font sizes went haywire!  I tried to get it all the same several times, but to no avail.  So instead of saving time it took me longer!

Thankfully Leigh allows you to post previous designs, so this is one from last year.

This is my post for the Coffee Lovers hop.  I made a mug last year with this trade image so I felt inspired to do a matching coffeepot. I also entered this design at die-cut-divas.blogspot.com  Back later x

Half O' Ween and Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer hop 25 May

This card is "Midnight Coffee".  I downloaded the demon from Pixabay.com, I made the background from one of the borders in the Dennison book, using the bat part twice.   Another card for both theCoffee Lovers Spring/Summer hopat Coffeelovingcardmakers.com and the "Something Wicked This Way Comes" Half O'Ween hop at LeighSBDesigns.

See you tomorrow x Angela x

Half O' Ween and Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer hop.

Today's card is from the front cover of Dennison's Bogie Book.  This is how it originally looked:

After some work, it looks like this:

You can see I gave the little man a coffee cup to carry.  So this card is for both the Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer hop at Coffeelovingcardmakers.com and the Something Wicked This Way Comes Half O'Ween hop at LeighSBDesigns.
See you tomorrow x Angela

Half O'Ween and Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer Hop

This my second Something Wicked This Way Comes Half O'Ween post over at LeighSBDesings and my first Coffee Lover's Spring/Summer Hop post  over at Coffee Loving Cardmakers.com.

The cup was a free mock up design from Design Freebies, the coffee bean background was from an old coffee book and the Halloween designs were from a free font I downloaded.  Back tomorrow with another design, x Angela.

Half O'Ween at LeighSBDesigns

We are half way though the year from Halloween to Halloween, so it's time for "Something Wicked This Way Comes" Half O'Ween at LeighSBDesigns.  I came across at Bogie Book by Dennisons the other day, perfect for Halloween designs.  This what the page looks like:

And this is the first design from this book

Apparently the clown was a Trick or Treat type game, you placed your hand in the pocket and pulled out......?  I asked my granddaughter what did she think the nasty items could be,  she replied at once spiders!  Expect a flurry of posts from me as it is also the Summer Coffee Lovers blog hop.  Bye for now x Angela

WOYWW 572

Happy Wednesday and welcome to another What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday.  It is a beautiful day here, bathed in sunshine with a slight breeze.  I had two visitors to my kitchen this week.
A crane fly and a Peppered moth. Interestingly there is an article on
Wiki about this moth as an example of Darwin's Theory in that there were no dark Peppered moths before the Industrial Revolution and as trees got cleaner the moths got lighter.

This week is the 11th anniversary of WOYWW and the theme to celebrate is UFO’s - the crafty kind. Follow to the link to see other crafters and perhaps join in.

Last weekend I wanted to use a set of pastels that belonged to my father.  The box is huge and I needed to do some sorting out so I could have extra room.  I started by taking my Scan and Cut into the other room, got a little crazy over the sorting out and thought I might  as well  search for UFO’s at the same time.  I found a few, all albums or journals that I had started.  As I was sorting I tried…

Happy Wednesday!  It's time for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday, hosted by the lovely Julia over at Stamping Ground.  As you can see nothing is going on at my workdesk as I have had a few days of general tiredness and aches.  Everything seems to knock me out at the moment even talking via messenger!  Nothing unusual, I often have these spells.

Sorry it is a short post this week, I have lot's of ideas spinning round at the moment so hopefull next week will be fuller.  Take care and stay safe x Angela.

WOYWW 570

It’s What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, and as usual we are linking up at Julia’s,  but before I get to my workdesk today I have some catching up to do.

I made a few of these two weeks ago, but last week my computer crashed, I did a complete restore, knowing I had my back up drive.  What I didn’t know was the back up drive had caused my computer to crash so I lost the last 4 years of my files.  I spent every day last week gathering previous back ups off my other back up drive.  This tale of woe goes on, because for some unaccountable reason I had duplicate and triplicate files in every folder.  So I had to go through each folder deleting them!  I did enquire about recovering the files, but it was £89.95 and no guarantees!  So now I am backing up my back up.

Now for my master board.  I did some stencilling with acrylic paint, toned it down with gesso and was going to do some stencilling.  When I placed the leaf stencil over the paint, I liked the look. So I scanned the stencil in my Scan…
