Making your own washi tape and Scripture Cards

I saw a tutorial on making your own washi tape using the type of stickers that you can print on your own computer.  Now would you believe it was over a year ago I saw this tutorial, I have no idea where I saw it.  I have tried to find it, there are several on the net but, I can't find the one I saw.  You need labels such as this, there are several makes and they come in a variety of sizes.

What you next is decorate your labels using watercolour, acrylic, stamps, doodling - what ever takes your fancy!
Remember as you peel off your stickers anything outside the precut area will be left behind.
These are my first set of Scripture Cards for the challenge Glory Art - at Triple The Scraps .  Patter does amazing art journaling.

To make these I first cut the card 2.5 by 3.5 inches. I covered the card with a backing paper which I gessoed over to tone it down a little.  I used several different rolls of bought washi tape, my own, and two different patterned serviettes.  I love using the top layer of serviettes in my art.  I printed the Bible verses.  I am waiting for some Renaissance Wax to arrive and I want to try protecting the cards with it.

Do let me know if you have a go at making your own washi tape or Scripture Cards.  I would love to hear from you.  Till next time x

Your scripture cards are beautiful. I wonder if I could do something like this for the children I teach or if I could even get them to make some to give to others. I am going to check out Triple the Scrap. Thanks for the tip.
Blessing hugs,
